Turkey marks 1st direct international flight from Russia

(MENAFN)A flight from Russia with 212 tourists onboard arrived at the Milas-Bodrum Airport in southwestern Turkey, spotting the first direct international flight to the city in the current year. The staff was pleased with the arrival of the first international tourists at the airport as authorities managed a ceremony to welcome the travelers when they landed after a three-and-a-half-hour journey from Vnukovo Airport near Moscow, stated Iclal Kayaoglu, head of the airport. A water salute welcomed the flight to mark the opening journey of the season. Kayaoglu further stated that "We're happy to see Russian tourists here. We hope more Russian tourists come this year. We're very hopeful about this season."
