Leaders demand Iranian Army to increase preparedness for operations

(MENAFN) Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution marked a message demanding the Iranian Army to increase preparedness for operations to the extent that necessary. The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces called on Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi to "keep enhancing this preparedness to the required level and play a role." He urged General Mousavi to show his concerns to "dear Army staff and their respected families." Imam Khomeini marked a message indicating April 18 as the "Islamic Republic of Iran�s Army Day," on April 18, 1979, and demanded the Army to walk in cities with all its power and military equipment.
