(MENAFN) Early on Friday, Apr. 23 Yemen's Houthi militants fired three bomb-laden drones at a Saudi Aramco oil facility and the King Khalid Airbase in southwestern Saudi Arabia, stated Houthi rebels. The group's al-Masirah TV said in a report: "two drones hit King Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushait city and the third one struck the Aramco oil facility in Jazan city," further saying: "the attacks were accurate." Saudi-led coalition forces halted three drones targeting Khamis Mushait and Jazan, reported Saudi-owned Al Arabiya TV. This was the second such assault on the Saudi giant Aramco site in the Red Sea city in almost a week. The coalition on April 15 noted it stopped five ballistic missiles and four drones fired by the Houthis from Yemen to Jazan.
