Gaza sees 7 Covid-19 fatalities, 872 new cases

(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Gaza, Apr. 24 (Petra)-The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced seven Covid-19 fatalities and 872 new cases were recorded during the past twenty-four hours.In its daily statement, the ministry said 3,026 lab tests were administered during the past twenty-four hours, indicating that 1,015 new cases have recovered.So far, the ministry said the caseload has reached 96,953, including 17,350 active infections, while the death toll has hit 839, adding 78,764 patients have recovered.The total number of cases that receive medical care in hospitals is 373, while 282 patients are described in a critical heath condition, according to the statement.
