(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) The minister underlined the need to take safety and prevention precautions and to adhere to physical distancing and not to gather and register on the Covid-19 vaccination platform in order to reach safety, indicating that the oxygen plant is under construction.On measures that have been taken regarding the mutated viruses, Hawwari said that the ministry has begun to lay down a vision that will be announced upon completion by concerned authorities, adding that its unlikely that large numbers of people from countries where mutants have spread would enter the Kingdom.For his part, the Chinese envoy said, "Today we celebrate our solidarity in the fight against Covid-19," pointing out that to the Chinese recall the sympathy and valuable support provided by the Jordanian people at the beginning of the pandemic, and at the same time China has provided many assistance to Jordan, including medical and other materials, "which indicates the depth of the friendship that binds us."The ambassador affirmed China's support to Jordan in its battle against Covid-19, stressing that vaccines have become a powerful weapon to defeat the virus and restore the economy and normal life for people.He added, despite the huge demand for the vaccine in the motherland of China, the Chinese government has overcome great difficulties to supply Jordan with the vaccine, "as we facilitated the purchase of a group of vaccines 3 weeks ago at a preferential price, and today we are happy to donate another batch of vaccines to the Jordanian people."He pointed out that Jordan was one of the countries that took the lead in this global endeavor, as it was the first country to provide the vaccine to refugees, in addition to its participation in the clinical trials of the Sinopharm vaccine.
