Jordan- Rise in temps forecast for three days

(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Amman, Apr. 28 (Petra) -- Temperatures on Wednesday are tipped to rise 3-4 degrees above annual average, bringing moderate and spring-like weather in the highlands and the plains, and relatively hot conditions in other regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.A further increase in mercury levels is predicted on Thursday, making hot conditions until Friday in much of the Kingdom, except in hilly areas and the plains where it will be relatively hot, with southeasterly light to northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 29 degrees Celsius, dropping to 17C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a high of 36C, dipping to 22C during night hours.
