Libya�s FM emphasizes significance of political legitimacy, nationwide sovereignty

(MENAFN) On Tuesday, May. 18 Libya�s Foreign Minister Najla al-Mangoush emphasized the significance of reinforcing political legitimacy in the nation by tackling security matters and enforcing nationwide sovereignty in all the country. Libya�s Foreign Ministry stated in a report that she shared the remarks in an assembly with U.S. Acting Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs Joey Hood in Tripoli. According to the report, she referred to bringing the Libyan institutions together and "liberating the national sovereign decisions from any material or moral coercion, whether internally or externally." The country�s foreign minister also emphasized the necessity to stop foreign interference, offer services for the people, extend the work of official institutions and begin an inclusive nationwide reconciliation.
