57.3% of eligible receive at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Qatar

(MENAFN - The Peninsula) Doha: As of today, 57.3% of those eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in Qatar received at least one dose of vaccine. 90.4% of the elderly over the age of 60 - who are considered among the groups most vulnerable to severe complications due to infection with the (Covid-19) virus - received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 84.7% of them received both doses of the vaccine. 28,287 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were given during the past 24 hours taking the total doses of vaccines given to community members since the beginning of the vaccination programme to  2,261,903.
