(MENAFN) On Sunday, May. 30 Yemen's Houthi rebels conducted a new bomb-laden drone assault at dawn on the King Khalid Air Base in Saudi Arabia's southwestern frontier city of Khamis Mushait, stated the Houthi militia. Houthi military spokesperson Yehya Sarea said as cited by Houthi-run al-Masirah TV: "the drone attack hit the Saudi airbase accurately." Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV said in a report at dawn on Sunday that the Saudi-led coalition stated it foiled and demolished a bomb-laden drone the Houthi militia targeting Khamis Mushait. Al-Arabiya TV reported that this was the second such halted assault by Houthi on Saudi Arabia in almost 24 hours.
