Lebanon: Fights amongst Palestinian factions leave 2 dead

(MENAFN) Elnashra news website said in a report that on Sunday, Jun. 6 two people lost their lives and several others were wounded in fights amongst Palestinian factions in the Rashidieh camp in southern Lebanon. The report noted that aggressive fights began in the early morning hours after members of Fatah movement invaded the house of a Palestinian national hunted over drug trafficking. It further said that a number of people were besieged in their homes in the vicinity of the current fights in the camp. Around 450,000 Palestinian refugees are recorded with the UN refugee relief agency in Lebanon, with a lot living in Lebanon�s 12 refugee camps.
