Palestinian youth shot dead by Israeli forces in Nablus

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, June 17 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian youth was killed by Israeli forces on Thursday, during confrontations in Beita, south Nablus.According to health officials, the 16 year old boy was shot in the head and was taken to hospital where he was operated upon. However, he was pronounced dead today.The total number of Palestinians killed in Beita since last May is five.The town's citizens have been protesting against Israel for weeks now for building a new settlement on their lands.
