Missing Person Tiverton

Police were informed of a 59-year-old missing person from the Tiverton area at around 2pm on Friday 4 September. 

Enquiries led police to Sidmouth and police and Coastguard commenced a search of the Peak Hill area. At around 6.40pm a male was located at the foot of Peak Hill having been seen to fall. Sadly paramedics could not revive the male. 

The man’s next of kin have been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
