Spanning about 35 acres at Community Boulevard and Marshall Parkway, approximately one mile west of I-95, the Riverland Town Center development will unfold in phases. Phase 1 will include three single-story commercial buildings with surface parking. The main building will house a 48,000-square-foot Publix Super Market and an adjacent Publix Liquor Store. Another building will offer around 12,000 square feet for retail and dining, while a third will have approximately 3,800 square feet for a standalone restaurant. Phase 1 is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
This expansion aims to further enhance the Riverland living experience by introducing new retail and dining options, easily accessible via the Paseo Greenway at Riverland - the community's unique pedestrian, bike, and golf cart-friendly pathways. RiverFresh Café offering indoor and outdoor seating, a to-go walk-up window, a Grab & Go station, and a menu featuring healthy options. The gym will also expand by 50% to accommodate more workout space. The 12,000 sq. ft Group Fitness Studio facility will house dedicated studios for various group classes, including Yoga, dance fitness, Pilates with reformers, Spinning, Cross Training, and Bungee Fitness. The Spinning and Cross Training studios will serve for multi-purpose use. Upon completion, the Wellness & Fitness Center will span an impressive 51,000 square feet, dedicated entirely to promoting health and wellbeing for its residents.
