Covid: China using Uighurs to make face masks

A New York Times visual investigation has found that some of some Chinese companies are using Uighur labour to fulfil the demand for personal protective equipment, through a contentious govt-sponsored program that experts said often puts people to work against their will. The program sends Uighurs and other ethnic minorities into factories, now being used in PPE supply chain.
