Quebec snowboarder describes how he survived avalanche in Chic-Choc Mountains

Bruno Ostiguy was snowboarding in the Gaspésie provincial park when an avalanche swept him up on Saturday afternoon. He and his girlfriend, who watched it happen, say people should not take the risk associated with backcountry skiing lightly.
