Needless to say, the way Edge works on Windows 10 continues to be a priority for the Redmond-based software giant, and today the company announced yet another important series of updates that concern the notifications users get from websites. More specifically, the new Chromium-powered Edge now supports background notifications for pinned sites and PWAs, which means that you can continue to receive notifications even if the application is closed. This is a feature that was available in the legacy version of the browser, and now Microsoft is bringing it to the Chromium sibling too.
