Microsoft Releases KB4601319 for Windows 10 20H2 Testers

Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for testers, this time landing as 20H2 Build 19042.804 (KB4601319) for users enrolled in the Beta and Release Preview channels and running Windows 10 October 2020 Update. Needless to say, this is a testing update, and the changelog includes four different fixes, one of which concerns a possible elevation of privilege vulnerability in the win32k component. Furthermore, the Redmond-based software giant says it resolved a bug that could have damaged the file system on some devices after running chkdsk /f. Needless to say, this made it impossible for these devices to boot up, so this is quite an important fix that testers are now supposed to give a try to before the same improvement is released to everybody next week.
