Upbeat Magical Girl-Themed JRPG Blue Reflection Second Light Arrives in November

The sequel to Blue Reflection, the JRPG launched back in 2017, has just been confirmed to arrive on November 9. Dubbed Blue Reflection: Second Light, the game will be released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC (via Steam). Although the game won't be specifically built for next-generation consoles, it will be playable on PlayStation 5 via Backward Compatibility. Developed by Gust Studios, the same team behind the Atelier series, Blue Reflection: Second Light follows the adventures of three students – Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsubo, and Yuki Kinjou – who find themselves transported to a mysterious floating academy, searching for clues to find their way back home, with only their names as memories. The first game stands out thanks to its unique combat system but failed to achieve greatness due to the disappointing visuals and low-budget presentation.
