Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 3 earlier this week with much fanfare, and one of the highlights is the support for pen input. This is the first foldable to come with such a feature, and to make sure the full potential of this functionality is unleashed, Samsung has also released a new S Pen specifically built for foldable devices. Naturally, those who already own a Samsung Note20 may be tempted to believe that using their S Pen with the new Galaxy Fold is totally possible. But as far as Samsung is concerned, this is a big no-no. The company explains that using an older S Pen with the new foldable device could break the screen, and of course, this is the reason you should purchase a new S Pen specifically built for the Galaxy Fold 3. “Only Z Fold3 Main Screen has S Pen capability.
