Apple is projected to take the wraps off the next major iOS update in September, but of course, the company has remained completely tight-lipped on everything related to what’s coming in this release. In the meantime, however, new details come from unofficial channels. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, for example, says iOS 16 will include new interaction improvements and fresh apps, though on the other hand, no further specifics on this were provided. Certainly, such information is intriguing, to say the least, especially as many expect substantial improvements for widgets. At this point, widgets are static and do nothing more than to provide information that you can’t interact with, so maybe this is what Gurman is referring to.
