Microsoft has recently released a new Windows 11 preview build for users enrolled in the Windows Insider program in the Dev channel. Windows 11 build 25136 is therefore available for download right now, and without a doubt, the biggest news is the debut of tabs in File Explorer. The idea of tabs in the file manager isn’t new, and in fact, it’s one of the top feature requests in the Windows userbase. Microsoft has previously tried to bring tabs to Windows 10 with a feature called Sets, but the company eventually pulled it when the company decided to move Edge to Chromium.
