Microsoft has recently released a new Windows 11 cumulative update for insiders, and while this is typically good news for those who are part of the testing program, there’s nothing to be very excited about this time. Windows 11 cumulative update KB5016159, which is live right now in the Dev channel, increases the OS build number to 25145.1011, and its role is specifically to test the servicing pipeline. In other words, it doesn’t include any new features and fixes, as Microsoft just wants to make sure everything is working properly via Windows Update. “We are starting to roll out Cumulative Update Build 25145.1011 (KB5016159). This update does not include anything new and is designed to test our servicing pipeline for builds in the Dev Channel,” Microsoft says.
