Microsoft Says Windows 11 Will Get One Major Update Every Year

While people familiar with the matter claim Windows 12 is already in the works, Microsoft is still fully committed to Windows 11. In addition to the release of Windows 11 2022 Update today, the company has also confirmed that its current operating system would continue to receive major updates once a year. The release will happen in the second half of each year, and each update will come with 24 months of support for Home and Pro editions.
