United Nations chief appoints Roza Otunbayeva of Kyrgyzstan as special representative for Afghanistan

Roza Otunbayeva of Kyrgyzstan has been appointed by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as a special representative for Afghanistan. He will also serve as Head of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan.
