U.S. Stocks Mixed as Investors Seek More Debt Ceiling Progress

U.S. stock futures were flat early Tuesday despite a positive shift in tone from the latest round of debt ceiling negotiations. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average were 25 points, or 0.1% lower, ahead of the open, while S&P 500 futures were also 0.1% down and Nasdaq-100 futures were flat.
