Powell Calls for Stronger Bank Regulation and Supervision

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell believes regulators need to “learn lessons” from the recent U.S. bank failures. He said he sees a need for regulatory and supervisory reforms, but stopped short of addressing the question of lifting bank capital requirements.
