Energy Transfer to Acquire Crestwood Equity Partners for $7.1 Billion

Energy Transfer said the transaction would benefit its natural-gas and crude-oil businesses by adding storage and terminal assets. Energy Transfer will acquire Crestwood Equity Partners in an all-equity transaction valued at $7.1 billion, expanding the company’s natural-gas and crude-oil network.
