Frank Borman, the astronaut who commanded Apollo 8's historic flight around the moon in 1968, has died at the age of 95. Borman, along with his crewmates James Lovell and William Anders, became the first humans to orbit the moon and see Earth from space. The mission was a significant milestone in the lead-up to the lunar landing the following year. Borman later led Eastern Airlines and was remembered as a true American hero by NASA administrator Bill Nelson.
