Sudan's displaced forced to flee again as safe zones shrink

Mohamed Ibrahim, who fled fighting in Khartoum, is now on the move again with his family as Wad Madani, the capital of Al-Jazirah state, comes under attack. Over 250,000 people have fled Al-Jazirah due to the advance of the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. The spread of fighting has led to the suspension of food assistance in parts of Al-Jazirah, causing a major setback. Displaced families are struggling to find housing in Sennar and Al-Faw. The war between Sudan's army and the RSF has killed thousands and displaced millions.
