Russian authorities have reportedly informed Alexei Navalny's mother that "sudden death syndrome" was the cause of the jailed leader's untimely demise. Sudden Death Syndrome is a condition where a person unexpectedly dies without any apparent cause or warning signs. Navalny, a prominent critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, fell unconscious and passed away after a walk at the "Polar Wolf" penal colony in Kharp.
