UK lawmaker undergoes quadruple amputation

A British lawmaker was scheduled to go back to the UK parliament on Wednesday. This would be his first time back since he had both his hands and feet amputated due to contracting sepsis. Conservative MP Craig Mackinlay was taken to the hospital in September of the previous year. He remained in an induced coma for 16 days before having a quadruple amputation surgery in December.
