Ready to avoid what entrepreneur Elon Musk calls "soul-destroying traffic?"

If you live in Los Angeles, you may be able to—at least temporarily thanks to Elon’s "Boring Company."

For the past few months, they've been hard at work carving out an underground tunnel that stretches 2.7 mies under the city of L.A.

It's reportedly almost done and The Tesla creator is looking for brave humans to test it out.

On Thursday Elon announced that the Boring Company will soon offer free rides to the public.

He has high hopes for the future of transportation and how it can help with L.A.'s traffic nightmare.

According to Gizmodo, "Above ground, cars would drive onto electrically-powered sled-like devices that would then descend underground and zip through the tunnels at more than 120 miles per hour."
