Serbians march for fairer media, an end to political violence
(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Thousands of Serbians took to the streets of Belgrade on Saturday (December 22) demanding fairer media and an end to political violence.
Some held rainbow flags and posters saying 'until all are free, nobody is free.'
One told Reuters: "Tonight we're here to send a clear message to the authorities, that we'll no longer tolerate violence in Serbia, we'll tolerate no more corruption and crime and we'll no longer tolerate the Mafia running this country." There were also banners that read '1 of 5 million', referring to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's comments that he would not bow to demands of protesters even if five million were protesting.
