Foster accuses May of not asking EU to scrap backstop
Arlene Foster has accused Theresa May of not asking Brussels to scrap the Northern Ireland backstop during the prime minister’s Brexit negotiations with the EU.
The DUP leader also said that a big defeat for Mrs May’s deal would strengthen the prime minister’s chances of getting the EU to rethink the deal as they would be forced to listen.
