Apple Might Be Changing the Way You Charge Your iPhone
For you iPhone users out there, Apple may make a radical change when it comes to charging your phone.
??The Sun reports, according to the Japanese supply blog Macotakara; Apple could be replacing iPhone’s current lightning cable in favor of USB-C cables.
??If Apple does move forward, it would make all current iPhone chargers useless.??But it would also allow users to have the same charger for both iPhone and Android, which also uses USB-C ports.
??According to the AU news, the blog went on to say Apple may make the switch to USB-C ports this year, but it may be pushed back to 2020 because it had not QUOTE reached the reference Design Stage.??The news comes following the launch of Apple’s iPad Pro in March, which uses USB-C.??The last time Apple made a change to their charging port was in 2012 when they got rid of the 30-pin connector ??in favor of lightning cables with the release of the iPhone 4.
