Director Bryan Singer's BAFTA Nom Pulled
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has suspended “Bohemian Rhapsody” director Bryan Singer’s nomination.
The move to suspend Singer from Sunday’s BAFTA awards ceremony follows allegations of sexual misconduct.
Singer has denied the allegations, which were first made public in a piece published in The Atlantic magazine.
In a statement published at the time by online magazine Deadline, Singer called The Atlantic article “a homophobic smear piece”.
BAFTA says Singer's suspension will remain in place until the outcome of the allegations is resolved.
