New tonight at 6... this massive project will eventually mean improved services for several "rural" communities.
Today, crews were working along murphy road, north of brazil in clay county.
This project also involves work in cayuga, clay city, clinton, riley, and rockville.
The goal is to help connect businesses..
And eventually individuals..
With more reliable internet.
A supervisor on-site says work has been happening since early last summer.
He says so far-- so good!
"we try to do around like 2000 feet a day is the goal.
// some days when we get out in the more rural areas, it's more obtainable and then when we get in town it's a lot harder to do."
There's no end-date set for the project.
But-- workers will be out the next several weeks.
