Tusk Urges European Parliament To Allow Britain A Long Extension On Brexit Talks

According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, a senior EU official said that a long extension of Brexit talks means at least a year and would require Britain to hold election to the European Parliament in May.

Donald Tusk, the chairman of European Union leaders, said that he would urge EU heads of state and government to remain open to granting Britain a long extension of Brexit talks should London need time to rethink its strategy for leaving the bloc.
