UK Parliament Says May Must Change Brexit Proposal Before New Vote

Reuters reports Prime Minister Theresa May's government is considering a statement by parliament’s speaker that May won't be able to bring her Brexit deal to another new vote until it was fundamentally changed.

Speaker John Bercow said the government could not bring forward proposals for a parliamentary vote that were too similar to the proposals that had been defeated twice before.

A spokesperson for May's office responded, saying, “We note the speaker’s statement.
