Karmen payne of belmont has signed with blue mountain college's women's basketball program.
The five-foot-eight guard averaged more than eight points and four rebounds as a senior.
She also averaged nearly two steals and two assists.
Payne is a versatile player who will finish her high school career in the north mississippi coaches all-star game in june.
Karmen payne: "these girls, they're great, i just enjoyed every part of it, they believe in success, and that's what we really try to do here at belmont."
Chris higginbottom: "she's gonna do whatever she can to contribute to the team, and do what's best for the team, she puts the team first instead of herself, and that just tells you what type of person she is."
Lavon driskell: "mid-range game is hard to find these days, and so, she has developed herself out and is a complete player, and we know she's gonna be a positive asset for our team."
