Poll: Support high for Evers' medical marijuana, Medicaid expansion plans but not gas tax increase

New poll results show more than half the state supports Democratic Gov.

Tony Evers' plans to legalize medical marijuana, accept Medicaid expansion money and increase the minimum wage.

But support is much smaller for a gas tax hike and freezing enrollment at private voucher schools.

The latest marquette law school poll was released yesterday 800 registered voters were surveyed in the latest poll which looked at governor evers first three months in office and the 2020 presidential race.

The director of the poll charles franklin is here to break down the numbers.

Identifying as democrats or independents, bernie sanders now leads with 32 percent of the vote..

Joe biden is at 29 percent...that's a reversal of january poll numbers... only 3 other candidates, senators elizabeth warren and kamala harris, and former congressman beto o'rourke, hit double digits.

Expect big changes in the coming months.

Poll also asked if they would vote for president trump in 2020..

28 percent said definitely..

14 percent said probably... but the 54 percent..
