Americans Enjoy Spending ‘Me Time’ in THIS Favorite Spot
The average American only gets five hours of “me time” per week, which comes out to just 43 minutes a day.??????Things like too much noise, current events, jobs, partners and kids are all top reasons why people don’t get time to relax.????In fact, a new study conducted by OnePoll for POLYWOOD found that the average person only gets into their ideal headspace for 3 and a half days a week.??????The study looked at 2,000 Americans, also finding that three in four people say their mood is negatively affected if they can’t get in a good headspace from having quality “me time.”??????Those surveyed don’t just want to have more time for themselves, almost three-quarters also say they wish they could spend more time outside.
??????With 31 percent saying their favorite place to be alone is in their backyard.??????However Some even admitted that they don’t get to use their own outdoor spaces enough.
????With Weather, work and household chores holding people back from spending more time outside.??????Other places people enjoy spending “me time” is in their bedroom and at coffee shops.??????Despite some saying they don’t spend enough time in their own outdoor spaces, they still plan on taking care of their backyard in the springtime.????Planting flowers, getting new furniture, and getting a new deck or patio are on the top of people’s to-do list for the spring.??
