Authorities Arrest Man With Gas Cans, Lighter Fluid at Famed NYC Church

Authorities Arrest Man With Gas Cans, Lighter Fluid at Famed NYC Church The unnamed suspect was detained Wednesday after going into St.

Patrick's Cathedral.

The arrest comes just a couple days after a fire broke out in France's legendary Notre Dame cathedral.

The suspect, who was found with four gallons of gasoline, is 37 years old and from New Jersey.

Police add two bottles of lighter fluid were also discovered when he was arrested.

According to CNN, he brought the items with him in a minivan before heading into St.

Patrick's.

Authorities say the suspect's identity will be revealed when he is formally charged.
