Trump Claims His Orders Are Always Followed Despite Evidence Stating Otherwise
Robert Mueller's full redacted report was made public last week says CNN.com.
Anecdote after anecdote of aides refusing to carry out some of Trump's demands filled the report.
The trend was so marked the report's authors made note of it in their assessment.
"The President's efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests." Mueller's report
Trump, meanwhile, detests the impression that he is managed by aides.
He spent the weekend stewing at the idea that some of his staff regularly ignored what he told them to do.
He sought assurance from his current staff that his orders are being treated like those of other presidents.
Trump has also proclaimed himself unconcerned about the prospects of impeachment proceedings.
