Out the cause.
### the first fema living site in chico will soon be ready for people to move- in.
City manager mark orme met me at the*silver dollar fairground* today to check- out the scene.*6* travel trailers are going through their final inspection there at this very moment.
This is the first fema living site for fire survivors in chico and the third location in butte county.
The trailers will have access to water and electricity.
And people living in those trailers will get a passcard to access their new homes.
In fact... families could be moving in as early as this weekend.
Now alan -- there is*anothe* fema living site with*8* mobile units coming soon to chico... off hegan (hay-gan) lane... here's the city manager with more.
They will be put in sooner than later.
Fema has been working diligently on that project.
It's my understanding they just awarded that project last night.
Now activities will start to ramp up.
The city manager tells me that his staff is working with the local business community in the hegan (hay-gan) lane area and county neighbors across the street... and... the city continues its discussions with cal o-e-s and fema...to ease potential impacts stemming from those mobile home units that are coming in.
So alan, to recap -- 80 mobile home units will be coming to the hegan lane, otterson drive area... but no clear dates to share exactly when the set-up will be done yet.
And 61 travel trailer units are near ready for move-in this weekend at the silver dollar fairgrounds.
Alan, back to you at
