Missouri health officials on Friday refused to renew the license of the state's only abortion clinic… But it will continue to operate after a judge left in place an injunction blocking its closure.
At a court hearing, the judge said it might be days before the court would come to a decision on whether the state could shut down its only abortion clinic - operated by Planned Parenthood.
(SOUNDBITE) (ENGLISH) DR. DAVID EISENBERG, LOUIS PLANNED PARENTHOOD MEDICAL DIRECTOR SAYING: "I really hope we continue to provide that high quality care for years to come." If it were to close, Missouri would become the only state in the U.S. without one.
