Sn Francisco Bans E-Cigarettes

On Tuesday, San Francisco's Board of Supervisors approved an ordinance banning the sale and distribution of e-cigarettes.

The e-cigarettes are banned until the products are approved by the FDA.

The ban goes into effect early next year.

Business Insider reports this law would be the most far-reaching e-cigarette law by a major city in the US.

Juul is the leading maker of e-cigarettes.

The company is headquartered in San Francisco.

It is pushing a ballot measure to make the ban unenforceable.
