It is a private equity fund also backed by the husband of California Sen.

Dianne Feinstein, Richard Blum.

There were 38 other limited partners.

The investments by Epstein and Blum were disclosed in public documents reviewed by Business Insider.

They were confirmed by people familiar with the fund.
