White House Brief? Bolton Writes Two-Sentence Letter Of Resignation

Business Insider reports National Security Adviser John Bolton's two-sentence resignation letter was short.

Shorter, in fact, than the tweets President Donald Trump sent out Tuesday about his dismissal.

According to Business Insider, Trump tweeted he'd let Bolton go.

But Bolton's letter of resignation was even shorter.

Dear Mr. President: I hereby resign, effective immediately, as Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.

Thank you for having afforded me this opportunity to serve our country.

John Bolton
