A bipartisan group of leaders might send a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

They will urge him to take action against Turkey if it violates the U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement.Pompeo recently received a letter to investigate reports of Turkish-backed forces active outside of the “safe zone.” According to Politico, Sen.

Chris Van Hollen and Lindsey Graham sent the letter.

They simply want Trump to follow through with threats of “tough economic sanctions” if violations are found.
